ABOUT George

With 15 years of experience in the music industry, I have worked across sound design, songwriting, mixing, recording, and composition, collaborating with orchestras, singers, musicians, brands, labels, and clients. Much of my career has been shaped by my work as an artist, with over 300 million online plays, a Top 40 record, and global touring experience, alongside writing and producing albums for other artists. Alongside this, I have created audio for adverts and podcasts. At the heart of everything I do is a deep appreciation for how sound shapes our experience of the world. My passion extends beyond music alone and into sound itself, which is why sonic work feels like a natural and meaningful extension of my practice.

My primary studio is based in the North West, while I also have access to a studio in London, Dolby Atmos studios in both London and Amsterdam, as well as strong connections with orchestras, musicians, and songwriters. My studio houses a collection of vintage synthesizers, modular equipment, and recording tools that allow for a wide range of sonic exploration. When projects require it, I also work in live rooms with pianos, drums, and full string recording capabilities. Sound is a constant part of my life and process. I regularly record textures and environments as I move through the world, building a growing archive captured with my Zoom recorder and a range of microphones, including binaural setups, allowing me to shape detailed and characterful sound design from authentic source material.
